eBUS is proud to announce that we’ve won the SME Top Honour Green IT Award at the Singapore Sustainability Awards 2011.
Winning this award showcases the environmental benefits achieved not only by eBUS, but by every client we serve throughout Asia and the Pacific.
Held at the Grand Hyatt Singapore, 11 July 2011, the awards were comprised by the Sustainable Business Awards and Green IT Awards. These awards showcased and honoured the efforts being made by nine private and public sector organisations.
Now in its second year, the Singapore Sustainability Awards aim to recognize organisations that "successfully overcome sustainability challenges with leading sustainable business practices." - Ho Meng Kit, SBF chief executive.
Singapore Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Teo Ser Luck stated that the number and quality of entries showed a growing emphasis for sustainability among Singaporean firms.
Winners were chosen from among 68 companies by a panel of judges led by KPMG, Frost & Sullivan and IBM. Judging was based on green IT implementation, corporate environmental responsibility, measurement of the impact and innovation.
Other Green IT winners included the National Library Board (NLB), and Tak System Integration. DHL, Sembcorp Industries, JTC Corporation, Greenpac, Rigel Technology and Siloso Beach Resort were the winners for the Enterprise Sustainable Business Award.
The awards saw the launch of "Riding the Megatrend of Sustainability," developed in collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS). This handbook offers insights, motivations and experiences for sustainable business. It’s set to spur businesses to follow in the footsteps of these green pioneers.
Everyone involved with eBUS is extremely proud of the innovative avenues we’re exploring, and will continue to explore in the field of sustainability.

ABOUT eBUS
eBUS is a leading edge and industry leading cloud computing software development firm, developing video content management and distribution technology for the media industry.
Throughout Asia, TV Commercials are currently physically delivered to Broadcasters using plastic polycarbonate video tapes. This method emits large quantities of Greenhouse gas emissions through the manufacturing and disposal of plastic and the use of numerous couriers, flights and train services to deliver these tapes around the world between parties.
eBUS has eliminated the need for traditional delivery methods and tape production. eBUSdelivery is a cloud based solution that digitally delivers TV Commercials to Broadcasters, Web and Mobile media using the Internet. The result: flexibility, faster delivery, safer delivery, higher quality delivery, saves money, manages all stock footage and estimated to reduce the impact on the environment by more than 95%.
